The higher the humidity, the harder your AC system needs to work, so be realistic with your assessment. If it’s a very humid day, your AC system will have to work pretty hard to do anything at all. If the AC isn’t cooling at all, open the hood and see if the compressor is turning. If it’s not, then your diagnosis should start there.

When you use your A/C, condensation builds up as well, and this usually goes down a drain. But if it gets clogged then you might have a problem.
After leaving the motor running for a few minutes, up to a few days of driving time with the air conditioning on, park your car in a very dark place like a garage with the lights off. Shine your UV light around the engine bay focusing on the air condition lines around the compressor and the condenser at the front of the car.

The AC not cooling enough is very rare. In fact, there is a blend door inside the HVAC system that regulates air flow past the heater core and AC evaporator. I’d look at the blend door before I looked at the heater control valve for a problem like that. It’s more likely you’d have a problem with no heat if the heater control valve failed.
